I found a map of a this unusual island, on the back there was this weird note.
Now, here's a curious document. It's a letter, although the calligraphy is different between the first and the second part. It's titled "Pathogen on Parias".

A small concoction made out of spores extracted from a common plant known as midnight moss. Though this flowerless plant is quite easy to find, only few clumps reacts to moonlight.
…for some reason someone thought it would have been necessary to spray paint the word “GUN” on it, as if it could have been mistaken for something else.
